Role of a Lloyd’s Agent
Lloyd’s Agents are appointed by the Lloyd’s Agency Department in London to provide local information and casualty intelligence, conducting surveys or adjusting claims. They are appointed for their professionalism and expertise to provide outstanding surveying services in the region.
As Lloyd’s Agents, we perform marine cargo, hull, and machinery surveys, adjust and settle claims and conduct recovery actions.
Cooper Bros has been part of the global network of Lloyd’s Agents for almost 100 years.
Requirements
Our staff sits for the examinations established by the Lloyd’s Agency Department to ensure that their Agents achieve and maintain high professional standards. Furthermore, as Agents we undergo a continuous process of audit and inspection to demonstrate adherence to Lloyd’s Agency Service Level Agreements.
